Good Smile Racing is developing the ultimate 1/12th scale series of model cars, and the first to join the line-up is the ‘King of Supercars’, – the Lamborghini Countach LP400!

With two years of development and the latest in 3D scanning technology, the exact proportions of the LP400 have been captured to create the perfect model. Each model features over 500 separate parts, made from high quality materials including die-cast metal, ABS, resin and photo-etching. The parts are all finished up at the hand of skilled craftsman, ensuring each part comes out beautifully. The Countach is the combination of cutting-edge technology, steady craftsmanship and careful research into the real car – all to create the perfect model.

Not only do the doors, trunk, and engine hood all open and close, but fully functioning retractable front headlights, position lamps, tail lights and a fully detailed dashboard are all included in perfect detail. Even an interior light that functions with the opening and closing of the door is included – the Countach LP400 model is filled with authentic options that function just like the real car. The tires are made from authentic rubber that depress under the weight of the car to retain the ideal proportions. The wheels can also be attached and removed using special included tools.

グッドスマイルレーシングが世に問う、究極の1/12スケールモデルシリーズ。そのラインナップ第一弾は、｢キング・オブ・スーパーカー｣ランボルギーニ・カウンタックLP400です。開発期間2年。最新鋭の3Dスキャナーによる実車測定が生み出す完璧なプロポーション。ダイキャスト、ABS、レジン、エッチングなど、質感表現に最適な素材で作られた500点以上のパーツ。そして、熟練工の繊細な手作業による美しい仕上げ。最先端のテクノロジーと、地道なクラフトマンシップの融合、そして入念な実車取材によって、ここに寸分の狂いのない正確かつ完璧なプロポーションをもつモデルカーが誕生しました。ドアやトランク、エンジンフードの開閉はもちろん、リトラクタブルライトの開閉と連動して点灯するヘッドライト、ポジショニングライト、テールライト、そしてメーターパネル。さらにドアの開閉に連動して点灯するルームライトなど、実車同様のギミックを多数盛り込んでいます。また、自重で接地面がたわむリアルな中空ゴムタイヤを採用することで、低く身構えた理想的なプロポーションを表現しました。ホイールは専用工具を使って着脱が可能です。スペックだけでは語ることのできない、LP400の持つオーラさえも感じていただけるでしょう。
