Japanese new girl group WHITE SCORPION produced by Yasushi Akimoto

WHITE SCORPION made their debut with “Manazashi Sniper” on December 7. The 2nd single will be released on January 7!

WHITE SCORPION, a new girl group produced by Yasushi  Akimoto, was formed through a six-month audition process that began in  April of this year, and debuted with the single “Manazashi Sniper” on December 7.

The music video also became available on that day.

Since the 11 members were chosen on October 7, they were working together with choreographer TAKAHIRO improving the precision and perfection of their dance.

The soulful and passionate performance was captured in a stylish video directed by Kazuma Ikeda. The camera work, which rotates in a circular pattern around the stage in the group’s image colors of black and white with a hint of red as if to get the blood flowing, captures the full range of expression and movement of the members who have just started their run. Their breathing and heartbeats are sublimated into a single work of art through sophisticated visual expression, such as “Sniper Pose,” in which they alternately move their arms back and forth during the chorus, and the challenging formation in which they move their positions at key points to change their formation.
