Japanese creator crew “UNI-Qreatives” released new single “LIMIT (feat. Nadia (BananaLemon))”
UNI-Qreatives’ first full album “UNI-Qreatives” attracted many R&B fans in Japan and around the world.
In July 2022, one year after its release, UNI-Qreatives finally began a new chapter.
The UNI-Qreatives releases so far have been based on the creation of songs in a short period of time in collaboration with topliners.
With an emphasis on playfulness and improvisation, “UNI-Q Session Project” achieved great popularity and attracted a great deal of attention.
Beginning with this new album, the name has been changed to “UNI-Q Co-Writing Project”. The project has evolved into a more experimental and expansive undertaking, with the theme of “pursuing a new musical chemistry” through co-production with topliners, trackmakers and other creators.
The second featured guest of the UNI-Q Co-Writing Project is lead vocalist Nadia (ナディア) from BananaLemon, a three-piece girl group whose impressive live performances, outstanding vocals and charisma are unparalleled in the Japanese music scene.
UNI-Q and Nadia’s collaboration on “LIMIT” fuses traditional R&B theory with an enticingly trendy beat, Nadia’s delicate, tragic and seductive topline, and penetrating Japanese lyrics. The song weaves a sad yet powerful story of a woman’s resolve to break up a twisted relationship with a friend.

-Nadia (ナディア)-
With multicultural roots in Japan, Spain, the Philippines and China, Nadia has a deep love for her hometown, downtown Tokyo.
She has received a huge international response and has been described as ‘exotic’ for her superb vocal abilities, which allow her to sing across a variety of genres from rock to R&B, and for her enigmatic visual style.
Before joining BananaLemon, Nadia was a nightly DJ, but her style shifted into holding the mic and singing her own songs while she played.
From there, she made the rare transition to become a professional vocalist.
While she loves 90’s R&B with all her heart, she is a real music enthusiast who also keeps up to date with new releases, possessing a high musical sensibility unique to being a DJ.
